I have such a soft spot for snowmen, and this little guy, Chilly Flatbottom, might just be my favorite snowman crochet design yet. How this pattern came about
This pattern is named “Chilly Flatbottom” because of it’s flat bottom and weighted body, it is a perfect holiday or seasonal decoration. Chilly is the first pattern in the Flatbottom family series! I have so many more ideas in the works for other seasonal and holiday decoration pieces.
This pattern actually came about because I wanted to write a snowman pattern for bulky plush yarns. I had written and published this free snowman pattern just a couple of years ago. It was written for worsted weight yarn. This new pattern, even though it is written for bulky yarn, works up beautifully in worsted weight!
